Isar River, Munich
I'm an Economist at ifo Institute, Center for Energy, Climate, and Resources and Junior Faculty (non-TT) at the Department of Economics at LMU Munich (University of Munich). I'm a CESifo Affiliate. Previously, I was a postdoctoral research fellow at Politecnico di Torino (Turin) and I have visited Imperial College London. I received my PhD from LMU Munich.
My work is rooted in applied microeconomics at the intersection of industrial organisation, energy economics, and environmental economics, using empirical and numerical optimisation methods. I have a special interest in electricity markets, their regulation and competitive dynamics, market power, and the investment dynamics of climate change adaptation.
